OGX put keratin oil at the centre of this 385ml bottle for that reason. Keratin is the protein hair is built from, and topping it up along the shaft makes the strand more resistant to the everyday things that break it, from brushing and heat to tying it back and chemical processing. Split ends get sealed down rather than left open to travel further up. Use it as your normal rinse-out conditioner, concentrating on the mid-lengths and ends where the damage lives.
If your hair is fragile rather than simply dry, this is the more useful of the OGX conditioners. Pair it with a moisture-led one in alternate washes so the hair does not stiffen up.
