The Curl Cleanser is a 945ml bottle of sulfate-free, silicone-free cleanser for curls, coils and waves. Mint oil, aloe and vitamin E give it slip and a cooling feel on the scalp, and the scent comes from essential ginger oil with citrus and tea notes, clean and sharp rather than sweet.

Application tips
Zero lather means working by feel rather than by foam. Soak the hair, apply directly to the scalp in four or five places, and massage for a full minute with the pads of the fingers.
Add water as you go to help it move. Pull whatever is left down the lengths and finger detangle there before rinsing. On a 945ml bottle, a pump top is worth fitting.
Results
Cleansing happens without the tight, stripped feeling that follows a detergent wash. Curls keep their moisture through it, so the hair is still soft and slippery when you get out. Detangling happens in the shower rather than after it. Colour holds, coils stay pliable, and the scent sits lightly on the hair rather than on top of it.
