The first question everyone asks is whether it smells of garlic. It does not. Nunaat use garlic extract in an odour-free formula, and the scent is closer to a standard salon conditioner.
The reason it is in there at all is the protein angle. This 300g leave-in pairs the garlic extract with hydrolysed keratin, the protein hair is built from, cut small enough to get into the strand. Hair that has gone weak and brittle feels firmer and more elastic afterwards, and elastic hair bends instead of snapping.
Breakage is what it is really for. Split ends and strands that give way at the mid-length are what stop hair looking long, and reducing that is how length gets kept.
Tagged 2a through 3c. Apply to damp hair after washing, leave it in, and alternate with a moisture leave-in if your hair starts feeling stiff, because protein on its own can overshoot.
