Application tips
Clip it onto hair that is already styled and secured, not as the thing holding the style together.
On a ponytail, sit it just above the band so the bow reads front on rather than sideways. On loose hair, take a small section back from the temple and clip it flat against the head. Open the jaw fully before you release it, and glitter stays on the bow rather than in the hair.
Results
Red glitter reads as red under most lighting, warm rather than pink, and it picks up flash in photographs without going white.
The bow keeps its shape instead of drooping once it is clipped in, so the loops stay full through a party. Weight is low enough that fine hair carries it without a sag on one side. Worn against dark hair it stands out most, though it works on blonde too.
