Application tips
Scoop with a dry spoon rather than your fingers, because this jar has to stay clean enough for cooking. In the kitchen it goes into a hot pan, into baking in place of butter, or straight onto toast. For hair, melt a little in the palms and work it through before a wash. For the body, apply after a shower while the skin is warm and it spreads a long way.
Results
On hair it softens and conditions, and the shine holds for a few days rather than a few hours. Skin takes it well and stays moisturised without a heavy film sitting on top.
In the pan it melts clear and behaves like any solid cooking fat. One jar covers two rooms of the house, and there is nothing on the label but coconut.
