Application tips
Put it on straight after brushing, while the hair is still damp from a wash or a spritz of moisturiser, because that is when a pattern sets hardest.
Some wavers add a wave cap over the top for extra pressure at night. Wash the durag itself every few days, since oil and product build up in the fabric and stop it gripping cleanly.
Results
Held for eight hours at a stretch, hair keeps the shape the brush gave it, so each session builds on the last instead of starting over.
The blend breathes, so nothing gets damp and clammy underneath. Over braids and locs it stops pillow fibres working their way in. It stretches over a big head of hair without pulling at the edges.
