The Light Tones can is the blonde and light brown version, formulated as a sheer spray so it disappears into pale hair rather than dulling it.
It does two jobs. The first is absorption: ultra-fine rice starch takes up sebum, product buildup and odour at the root, so hair that was flat and greasy reads clean again. The second is body. The starch leaves texture behind, which lifts the roots and gives fine hair something to hold a style with, and plenty of people use it on clean hair purely for that. Argan oil, the ingredient Moroccanoil is built on, sits in the formula to keep the finish from turning dry and dusty.

Application tips
Part the hair with a tail comb and spray along the exposed root line, then move the parting an inch and repeat, so the product lands on the scalp rather than on the top layer.
Wait, then work it in with the fingers and shake the head out. For volume, spray underneath the crown section and backcomb lightly once it has been absorbed.
Results
Blonde and light hair takes it without turning ashy or grey at the parting, which is the usual failure of a dry shampoo on pale hair.
Grease lifts, odour goes and the roots feel dry and clean again. The texture it leaves is useful in itself, giving fine hair enough grip to hold a shape. A blow dry stretches an extra day or two out of it.
