Split ends cannot be glued back together, and any product claiming otherwise is selling you something. What a 2oz split end treatment can do is smooth the frayed section down so it stops catching, looks tidier, and does less damage to the hair around it.
Mielle's version runs on rice water, the same base as the rest of the Rice Water line. It goes on the ends rather than the whole head, which is why the bottle is small. This is a finishing product, used where the damage actually is.
Two ounces goes further than it sounds, because the ends are a small part of the head and the mid-lengths do not need any of it. It sits alongside the Rice Water shampoo and clay mask if you want the whole line working together.
Best on hair that is dry, damaged or prone to breakage, whatever the curl pattern. Between haircuts it keeps the ends looking better. It does not replace the haircut.
