Clay masks and rice water are two different traditions and this one puts them in the same pot. The clays draw off what is sitting on the hair. The fermented rice water goes into the strand with its vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

Clay rinses out differently to a cream mask. Work section by section under running water and take your time getting all of it out, because residue left behind will read as dryness a day later and send you back for more product you did not need.
Use it as a treatment rather than as a weekly conditioner, and give it the time on the hair that the packaging asks for. It sits at the intensive end of the Rice Water line, so if your hair is only slightly dry, the shampoo and the shine mist may be enough on their own.

Application tips
Wet hair takes clay better than dry, and a tint brush spreads it further than fingers will. Coat each section from the ends up, then clip it away.
Twenty minutes is the window, and it should still be damp when you rinse, so a cap stops it drying hard against the hair. Detangle under the water as the clay loosens.
Results
Hair comes out with more spring in it, stretching under tension and returning rather than snapping. The line where new growth meets older hair feels less fragile.
Roots are clear of the film heavy stylers leave, so curls read sharper. Hair takes moisture better afterwards, and the next conditioner goes further.
