Mielle Pomegranate & Honey Moisturizing & Detangling Conditioner 12oz
Slip is the point of this one. Thick curly hair needs a conditioner it can be combed through, and the Pomegranate and Honey formula gives you that without leaving the hair coated afterwards.
Sweet almond and coconut oils lead, with honey, pomegranate seed oil, babassu, buriti fruit oil, copaiba resin, murumuru seed butter and acai extract behind them. It smooths the texture, keeps moisture in, and leaves the hair less inclined to break at the ends.
Mielle sets the line out in three steps and this is the first. Apply to wet hair, comb gently root to tip, leave 10 to 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Prime with the Pomegranate and Honey Leave-In, then define with one of the three stylers. Any curl pattern will take it, though it earns its keep on type 4. 12oz.

Application tips
Get the bulk of the water out with your hands before this goes on. Rake a generous amount through each quarter, then start detangling at the ends and work up in short passes rather than dragging from the root.
If the hair is badly knotted, leave it in while you wash your face and come back to it. Rinse until the slip has gone.
Results
The comb glides instead of catching, and what sheds is loose hair rather than snapped ends. Hair rinses clean and still feels soft, with nothing left coating the strand.
Dry hair looks smoother along its length, split ends look tidier, and less breaks off over a run of wash days.
