Mielle Oats & Honey Soothing Leave-In Conditioner 6oz
Two jobs from one pump bottle. On wash day it is the leave-in that goes on after you rinse, combed through sectioned hair and left in. On day two or three it is the refresher, pumped straight onto dry hair to bring the shine and the shape back.
Oats and honey are the pairing it is built on. Honey seals moisture into the strand, and the oats give the formula its soft, soothing feel, which is why Mielle pitch it at people with a sensitive scalp. Allantoin further down the list is there for much the same reason.
The oils are gentle rather than rich: olive, sweet almond, sesame and grapeseed, with panthenol for softness. The texture is light, so it will not flatten a fine curl or leave a film on the scalp.
Apply generously in sections with a wide-tooth comb, do not rinse, and style as normal. For type 2a through 3b. 6oz.

Application tips
Four to six presses covers a full head at medium density, split across sections. Emulsify in the palms first, then press it in rather than raking, which keeps the clumps together.
Any styler goes on top while this is still wet. For a midweek revive, wet your palms, add one press, and cup only the sections that have gone flat.
Results
Curls dry soft and separated, with none of the crisp shell a styler alone leaves. The scalp stays comfortable and no build-up gathers at the roots after a few days of use.
Second day hair perks back up with water and one more press. The finish is light enough that fine curls keep their spring.
