Mielle Oats & Honey Soothing Conditioner 8oz
Scalps that react to fragrance or to a strong surfactant tend to end up under-conditioned, because the products marketed as gentle are usually the thin ones. This 8oz conditioner is not one of those.
Oats and honey lead it, with avocado, sweet almond, argan and coconut oils, aloe, panthenol and hydrolysed oat protein behind them. It softens, and it makes the hair easier to get a comb through, which is most of what you want from the second step of a wash.

Apply to wet hair after shampooing, root to tip, leave it 10 to 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Pair it with the Oats and Honey Soothing Shampoo to keep the whole wash on one base. Suits waves through to coils, and scalps that need the gentle option.

Application tips
Four sections keeps this even on thick hair and stops you spending half the bottle on the top layer. Smooth it down each section, then detangle from the ends up while it is still on.
Ten minutes is the working minimum, twenty under a shower cap if the hair is very dry. Rinse until the water runs clear and the length no longer feels coated.
Results
The comb goes through without catching, and what collects on it is a fraction of what a thin conditioner leaves behind. Hair feels padded and soft rather than slippery.
Scalps that redden or itch under fragranced products stay comfortable. Dry ends look less see-through, and the softness holds for two or three days.
