Mielle Mongongo Oil Thermal & Heat Protectant Spray 4oz
Curl pattern is the thing most heat protectants ignore. Mielle built this spray around keeping it intact through a blow-dry or a flat iron, which matters if you want your curls back once the style grows out. It goes on wet hair straight out of the shower.
Four oils give the spray its name and its slip: sweet almond, argan, sacha inchi and mongongo kernel, with grape seed oil alongside them. Amodimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane and dimethiconol form the smoothing layer that handles frizz and shine. Hydrolysed wheat protein reinforces the strand, glycerin and propylene glycol hold moisture in, and cetrimonium chloride keeps hair combing easily while it is wet.

How to use it
Apply to clean, wet hair after shampooing, then comb it gently through from roots to ends so every section is covered. Go straight into your heat styling from there.

Application tips
Mist it on before anything else goes onto damp hair, so the protection sits closest to the strand. Work in sections about two inches wide and lift each one so the spray reaches underneath.
Comb through to spread it evenly. Dry the hair, or blow it out, before a flat iron goes near it. Ironing soaking hair damages it whatever you sprayed on first.
Results
Hair passes under heat with less of the dry, crackly feel that follows an unprotected press. Frizz is flatter and the finished style keeps shine rather than dulling at the ends.
Curls come back on the next wash instead of hanging loose. Wet hair combs more easily while you work, so the blow dry pulls less.
