Mielle Mango & Tulsi Leave-In Conditioner 12oz
This one is sold as a leave-in and works as a curl cream, which is worth knowing before you buy a separate styler. Wash-and-gos, twist-outs and rod sets all take it.
Coconut oil, tulsi leaf oil and mango seed butter carry the formula, with panthenol, grape seed oil, aloe, shea butter, olive and sweet almond oils, and sugar cane, orange, lemon and sugar maple extracts. Vegan and cruelty free.

After conditioning, split the hair into four sections, apply, and work it through with a wide tooth comb. Do not rinse. Then either leave it as your moisture layer or style straight from it. Good on waves and curls that dry out fast. 12oz.

Application tips
Damp hair takes this better than dripping hair, since water still running down a section will dilute it before it lands. A palmful per quarter of the head suits medium density, more where the hair is thick.
Rake it down the length, then smooth over the top so the cuticle lies flat. If a gel is going on afterwards, apply that while this layer is still wet.
Results
Combing gets easier straight away, which is where most of the breakage on curly hair happens. Hair dries soft rather than coated, with the pattern showing more clearly than it does bare.
On second and third days the length still feels moisturised, and a set style built over the top holds without stiffness.
