Mielle Hawaiian Ginger Anti-Breakage Shampoo 12oz
A 12oz sulphate free shampoo for dry hair that has started to break. It cleanses gently, which is the point: strip a fragile texture twice a week and the breakage gets worse rather than better.
Coconut, sweet almond, avocado and ginger root oils sit in the formula alongside panthenol, with decyl glucoside and sodium lauroyl sarcosinate as the milder surfactants.

Massage into wet hair, work to a lather, rinse, and repeat if the hair needed it. The lather is softer than a sulphate shampoo's, so a second pass is normal rather than a sign that nothing is happening. Application tips
Detangle before you get in the shower, not after. Once the hair is wet, part it into four and apply only at the scalp, working in with the pads of your fingers, one quarter at a time.
The lengths clean themselves as it rinses out. Follow straight away with the matching conditioner while the hair is still in its sections.
Results
Hair comes out clean without the dry, papery feel that follows a harsh wash, and it stays soft enough to handle immediately. Fewer strands come away between the shampoo and the conditioner. Over a few weeks the mid-lengths hold up better under a comb, and the ends stop looking thin and wispy where they used to break away.
