The amino acid complex comes from wheat and soy, and its job is to firm up a strand that has gone soft and overstretched. Hair already carrying plenty of protein will come out feeling stiff, so run it in rotation with a moisture mask rather than every wash. Babassu oil is the carrier, a light tropical butter that melts at body temperature and conditions without the density shea brings. Acai and pracaxi oils sit alongside it, and the rosemary, lavender, geranium, sage and peppermint blend at the end of the list is where the cool finish comes from. A good number of the ingredients are certified organic.
Method matters here more than usual. Shampoo, split the hair into four sections, apply root to tip on damp hair, cover with a plastic cap for fifteen minutes, or thirty under a dryer if the hair is stubborn. Rinse cold.
