The formula behind it is a smoothing shampoo for curly, unruly or frizz-prone hair. It cleanses and moisturises in the same pass, and that combination is what makes a difference to frizz. Application tips
Work it in with your fingertips in straight lines from front to back rather than circling. Piling curly hair on top of the head during a wash is where a good deal of tangling starts.
Scalp only, one or two passes depending on build-up, then rinse and follow with a conditioner. Detangle after the conditioner is in, never during the shampoo.
Results
Hair comes out lying flatter along its own length, so the frizz that usually stands up after washing is reduced from the start.
It cleans thoroughly while leaving enough moisture that the hair is not fighting you afterwards. The vanilla scent is warm and sweet and stays in the hair for a day or so. Unruly, coarse textures get the most from it.
