Mane N Tail built this 355ml can to reach past the braid to the hair and scalp beneath, so it conditions and hydrates as well as adding shine. The mist is fine enough to get between rows without soaking the style, and it does not leave the greasy film that undoes a neat set of cornrows.
It works on box braids, cornrows, locs, twists and weaves. Spray in sections, lifting rows as you go so the scalp gets some too, then smooth over the surface with your hands to even it out.
The habit worth building is doing it every couple of days rather than waiting until the style looks tired. Braids that have been kept conditioned come down more easily at the end, and the hair underneath is in better shape for the next install, which is the part nobody thinks about until it is too late to matter.
Best for type 3 and type 4 textures in protective styles, 3b right through to 4c.
