If your routine already has too many bottles in it, a 200ml/6.76 oz bottle of cold-pressed olive oil quietly replaces three of them. It is a pre-wash treatment, a body oil and a sealing step, and it does not need to be anything cleverer than that.
Olive oil is a heavy, familiar emollient with vitamin E in it, and heaviness is the point rather than a flaw. On skin it restores softness and elasticity to areas that have gone dry and papery. On hair it is best used before you wash, worked through the lengths and left for half an hour, so the shampoo has something to lift away rather than stripping bare strands.
Suits waves through to 4a. Coarser, drier textures can use it as a sealing oil after a leave-in; finer waves should keep it strictly to pre-wash duty, because it will flatten a fresh wash-and-go.
