Ylang ylang comes from the flowers of the Cananga tree and carries a heavy, sweet floral scent that people tend to either love or avoid entirely. If you already know you like it, this bottle gives you a lot of it.
On skin the useful property is balance. It softens without leaving a greasy film, which makes it workable on skin that is dry in some places and oily in others. On hair it adds shine and a little slip, and the 150ml/5.07 oz size means you can be generous with a scalp massage without watching the level drop.
Most of its life will probably be spent as a fragrance layer. Added to a carrier oil for a body blend, or a few drops warmed between the palms and smoothed over finished curls, the scent lingers for hours. Works across wavy and curly textures from 2a to 4a.
