Pure castor oil is thick and slow moving. Most people find it easier to use if they warm the bottle in a mug of hot water first, or stir a spoonful into a conditioner. Used neat, a few drops go a long way on the ends, and it stays put on a hairline or the perimeter where hair gets pulled tightest.
It works on skin as readily as hair. Cuticles, dry patches, brows and lashes all take it, applied with a clean spoolie or a fingertip.
