Application tips
Split a very thick ponytail in two, tie the lower half first and the upper half over it, and each band takes half the strain. On a full bun, wrap twice and pin, and do not force a third turn. Lift it off the top of the bun with two fingers when you take it out, never drag it through.
Results
The tie is still holding at the end of a long day and still the same size the following morning, not stretched out into a loose loop. Heavy hair stays up through a workout without sliding down the back of the head, and nothing digs in at the base. The band comes away without taking a clump of ends with it.
