Application tips
Two or three turns is usually enough. Any more and you are compressing the hair rather than holding it, which is where the dent and the snapped ends come from.
Take them off with the tips of small scissors, cutting through the band rather than rolling it down the hair. They cost almost nothing each, and hair costs considerably more.
Results
Sections stay exactly where you put them through a long braiding session, and a finished plait holds its shape to the very tip without a bulky elastic showing.
