Application tips
Brush first, always in the same direction, and put the cap on while the hair is still slightly damp from a rinse or a spritz. Damp hair takes the shape. Dry hair mostly resists it.
Pull it down past the hairline so the front edge sits below where the pattern starts, then leave it for the night. Half an hour after a daytime brush session works too, if you are topping up rather than setting.
Results
The rows you brushed in stay lying that way instead of springing back up while you sleep. Over weeks the pattern reads deeper and more even across the crown, where it usually breaks up first.
It does a plainer job on braids or a barber fresh shape up, holding whatever you left the chair with in place overnight.
