The 2452 is a standard styling comb in a heat resistant plastic, so it can sit near a dryer or an iron without warping. The teeth are cut clean and rounded at the tips, which is what stops a comb scoring a line down the strand. Used on hair that has already been detangled, it gives you sharp partings, tidy sections and enough control to place a wave or a set curl.
The spine is thick enough to stay flat when you push it against a section, which is the difference between a parting you can follow and one that wanders halfway across the crown.
Any texture, though coily hair should meet a wide toothed comb or a set of fingers first. Wet or dry.
