Application tips
Gather everything into a loose pile on top of the head first, then bring the cap over from the front and stretch the back down past the nape.
The elastic wants to sit on skin, not on hair, or water finds a route in. Turn it inside out to dry after use. If a treatment has been under there, rinse the inside before it goes back on the hook.
Results
Twenty-one inches of headroom, so braids, locs, a full afro or a head of rollers go under it without being pressed down.
The material holds water off through a long, hot shower and does not steam through at the crown. It washes and comes back rather than going in the bin, and the black finish does not show conditioner marks the way a pale one does.
