Application tips
Work on hair that is damp rather than dripping, with a smoothing product combed through so the surface is even.
Take a section about the width of the roller, hold it out at ninety degrees, and wind from the ends towards the scalp with steady tension. Snap it shut against the root. Every roller stays put until the hair has dried right through, under a hood or overnight, then unwind from the bottom up.
Results
The finish is body rather than ringlets. Hair comes off the barrel with a wide, soft bend and enough lift at the root to hold shape through the day.
Brushed out lightly it reads as a blow dry; left alone it keeps more of the wave. Nothing hot touches the hair at any point, which matters if you are setting two or three times a week.
