Dry, dull, unmanageable hair is the brief, and the formula answers it with straightforward deep conditioning. It goes into thirsty strands rather than sitting on top of them, which is what separates a mask from a rich conditioner, and the shine that comes back is a consequence of a smoother cuticle rather than anything added to the surface.
