Luster's Pink has been on shelves for generations, and the Lush Growth Oil is the scalp oil in their natural oil blends line. It is built around keeping the scalp clean and comfortable, which is the step most length routines skip.
The blend is made from natural oils and it goes onto the scalp rather than the hair. Massaged in, it lifts the dry skin cells that collect around the root and leaves the skin conditioned rather than tight. Taken down the lengths it conditions and reduces the breakage that quietly costs you length over a year. It works on natural texture, on an S curl, and on hair that has been through a curl texturiser, which is a wider brief than most scalp oils manage.

Application tips
Part the hair into rows an inch or so apart and apply along the parting rather than tipping oil onto the top of the head.
Fingertips in small circles, a minute or two per section. Do it on a clean scalp, the evening before a wash if you prefer, or on dry hair between washes. Whatever is left on your hands can be smoothed over the ends.
Results
Scalp feels comfortable rather than tight, and the dryness that shows up around the roots eases off.
The lengths pick up a light conditioning from it without turning greasy, so hair stays soft between washes. Less breaks off during combing, which is how length actually holds, and the finish is a low sheen rather than a wet look.
