This 12oz shampoo from Luster's Pink is sulfate-free and made for children's hair, which is finer and more fragile than adult hair even when the curl pattern looks the same. Shea butter and sunflower seed oil do the conditioning, so the hair dries soft instead of squeaking. Wet the hair thoroughly first, apply the shampoo in sections rather than piling it all on top, and work through with fingers before any comb goes near it. Application tips
Wet the hair through, then apply to the scalp and massage with the pads of your fingers. Let the lather run down the lengths on its own instead of scrubbing them, which is what creates knots in the first place.
Rinse fully, then follow with a conditioner. In a bath, tip the head back so nothing runs into the eyes.
