This 12oz shampoo from Luster's Pink is sulfate-free and made for children's hair, which is finer and more fragile than adult hair even when the curl pattern looks the same. It cleans without taking out the oils that keep the hair pliable, and the slip it leaves means the comb moves rather than catches. Shea butter and sunflower seed oil do the conditioning, so the hair dries soft instead of squeaking. Wet the hair thoroughly first, apply the shampoo in sections rather than piling it all on top, and work through with fingers before any comb goes near it. Rinse and follow with a conditioner if the hair is dense.
Made for preschool and school-age children with curly, wavy or textured hair, and mild enough for the frequent washes that come with school, sport and swimming.
