Slip is the whole point of a curl conditioner, and this one is built around it. The texture is creamy and rich but rinses out clean, so combing through wet hair takes less pulling and fewer strands come away in the comb.
Coconut oil carries the moisture without the weight, which is what makes it workable across curl patterns from loose waves to tight coils. Curls come out softer, more clearly defined, and calmer at the crown where frizz usually starts.
Apply to damp hair after shampooing, work it through the mid-lengths and ends, detangle with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, then rinse. Leaving a trace of it in rather than rinsing to squeaky is fine, and on drier hair it helps. The 16.9 oz bottle is sized for regular use rather than occasional treatments. Suits type 2 waves through to type 4a coils.

Application tips
Sectioning is what makes 16.9 ounces last. Four clips, a small handful per section, pressed in and squeezed rather than smeared. Give it two minutes while you do something else.
Coarse hair can take a second layer on the ends. Fine hair should stay away from the top third entirely. Rinse under cooler water at the end, which closes the cuticle and puts a shine on it.
Results
Wet hair goes slippery enough that fingers pass through knots rather than pulling at them. Curls come out soft and clearly defined, and the crown stays calm where frizz normally starts. Nothing weighs the pattern down, so a loose wave keeps its lift and a tight coil still gets enough richness. Ends feel less papery within a couple of washes.
