Application tips
Coily hair takes more than you expect, so measure by section, not by handful.
On soaking wet hair, smooth a section flat, then either shingle it curl by curl for definition or twist it and let it set. Band the roots if you want stretch. Once it starts drying, hands off, because that is where the frizz comes from on type 4.
Results
Coils clump into their own shape rather than a general fuzz, and they stay soft enough to move a finger through.
There is no film on the strand and no cast to break, so the hair looks like hair and not a set. Moisture holds for a couple of days, which on tight textures decides whether a style lasts.
