The active is Citramine, a vitamin E derivative L'Oréal Professionnel uses for its grip on residue. It lifts three things at once: sebum from an oily scalp, the silicone and polymer film left behind by styling products, and the mineral deposits hard water leaves on the fibre. That last one is the reason a lot of people in hard water areas think their shampoo has stopped working. The 300ml bottle is the standard retail size.
