Liss Unlimited is the smoothing range from L'Oréal Professionnel, and the shampoo is where it begins. It cleanses gently and starts flattening the cuticle straight away, so the fibre picks up less moisture from the air and flyaways have less to work with. Hair feels smoother in the hand and dries with noticeably more discipline.
300 ml/10.14 oz. It is a professional formula, so use less than you think and concentrate it at the roots, letting the lather run through the lengths as you rinse. Aimed at thick, coarse or frizz-prone hair being worn smooth. If you want definition rather than sleekness, this is the wrong end of the range.

Application tips
Frizz-prone hair is usually rougher than it is dirty. One wash, concentrated at the scalp, is the right approach, and the lengths get cleaned by whatever runs past them.
Finish with a cold rinse. It takes about ten seconds of discomfort and it closes the cuticle down, which is half the smoothing job done before any conditioner arrives. Do not pile the hair on top of your head to wash it.
Results
Hair comes out of the shower already lying flatter, with less of that fanned, static state unruly hair reaches when it is wet.
Through drying, the individual strands stay together instead of separating, so the finish is sleek and shiny rather than fluffy. Cleansing is thorough without roughing the surface up, which on frizzy hair matters more than the strength of the cleanse.
