The formula is built on glycerin, Urea H and hibiscus seed extract, and it behaves like a conditioner that happens to cleanse. Application tips
A litre and a half is a backbar bottle. Get it off the shower floor and onto a pump you can work one-handed, because washing curly hair takes two hands and a lot of sectioning.
Apply at the roots in four sections, massage, rinse, and only repeat if the hair still feels coated. Cleansing creams like this one lather less than a standard shampoo, which is normal and not a sign you need more.
Results
Curls come out of the wash already behaving. The formula cleans without stripping the natural oils, so the hair is not left brittle and squeaking before conditioner has gone anywhere near it.
Frizz stays lower through drying, detangling takes less time, and the curl pattern holds its shape rather than falling into a fluffy mass. Coily and tightly curled textures get the most out of it, being the ones that dry out fastest.
