The molecule L'Oréal built the range around is Filloxane, designed to penetrate the hair fibre and expand it from the inside rather than coat it from the outside. That distinction matters, because coating washes off, and this effect builds with repeated use instead of vanishing at the next wash. Hair feels thicker between the fingers and looks fuller at the root, and the shampoo cleanses normally while it does it.

Use it as your regular wash rather than an occasional treatment, since Filloxane needs the repetition to be worth anything, and keep conditioner off the roots. Application tips
Shampoo the scalp and nothing else. Fine hair goes limp from residue more than from anything else, so the roots are where the cleaning happens and the ends only need what rinses past them.
Use warm water rather than hot, and give it a proper rinse. Sixty seconds under the shower feels excessive and is roughly what it takes to get a thickening shampoo fully out of fine hair.
Results
Hair dries with more standing room at the roots. It is not the stiff, sprayed kind of volume; the hair still moves, it just does not collapse onto the scalp by the afternoon.
Blow-dries hold longer as a result, and a second day without washing becomes realistic. Fine hair that has gone flat and slightly greasy by evening tends to show the clearest before and after.
