Application tips
Long hair needs the shampoo concentrated where it gets dirty, which is the scalp, not the ends. Wet the hair right through, take a coin-sized amount into wet palms and work it into the roots with your fingertips. The suds that run down as you rinse are enough for the lengths.
Rinse until the water runs clear, then follow with a conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends. Piling shampoo onto the oldest sections is how long hair ends up rough.
Results
Combing out afterwards takes noticeably less effort, which matters most on hair past the shoulders where a snagged brush costs you length. The lengths come out smoother and behave better while they are still damp.
The finish is clean without that squeaky, stripped feeling, and hair keeps enough slip through the day that a ponytail can be pulled out without a fight.
