Bond builders started as a salon idea. Let's Bond is Noughty's home version, and the conditioner is the step doing the repair work rather than only the softening.

The claims are unusually specific for a conditioner, and Noughty tie all of them to using the range as a routine rather than the conditioner alone, measured against untreated hair:

  • Hair strength up by 70%
  • Breakage reduced threefold
  • Damage repaired after a single use
  • Strength returned to its pre-damaged level

Read those as regime figures, not single-product ones. What it means in practice is a conditioner worth using consistently rather than pulling out once the hair already looks rough. It suits 2a through 3c hair that has been coloured, bleached or heat-styled hard, and it is the one to reach for when the hair feels stretchy and soft in a way it should not.

Application tips

After shampooing, wring the hair out and apply from mid-length to ends where the damage actually sits.

Comb it through in sections and leave it on for three to five minutes rather than rinsing straight away, because bond work needs contact time. Rinse cool. On very damaged hair, do this every wash for the first month before dropping back.

Results

Hair that felt stretchy and spongy when wet starts behaving normally again, holding its shape instead of collapsing. Wet detangling gets easier and the comb pulls out fewer broken pieces. Dry, the lengths feel firmer and less fragile between the fingers, and coloured hair keeps more of its shine. The change is largest on hair that has been bleached.

The full INCI is printed on the pack. We publish it here as soon as the brand supplies it, and we will read it off the bottle for you if you ask.
