Lavender is here to make the oil pleasant to use. Roasted Jamaican black castor oil has a strong, smoky, unmistakably earthy smell, and a lavender blend takes most of that away without changing what the castor oil does.
What it does is condition. JBCO carries omega-9 fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamin E, and it is thick enough to work into the scalp properly and seal the lengths afterwards. Dry, tight scalps settle down. Rough, brittle ends soften and stop snapping at the same rate. The lavender changes nothing about that. It is there for the person applying the oil rather than for the hair.
The bottle holds 118ml/3.99 oz. Massage it into a sectioned scalp, take the remainder down the hair, then leave it in or wash it out depending on how heavy your hair likes to feel. Type 3b to 4c.
