Kuza Jamaican Black Castor Oil Conditioning Braid Spray: Deeply Hydrates & Soothes Scalp for Braids, Locs & Protective Styles 236ml
Three weeks into a set of braids the scalp is the problem, not the hair. It gets dry, it gets tight, and there is no way to reach it with a cream without wrecking the style. A braid spray is the tool for that job, and Kuza's is built around Jamaican black castor oil.
The spray reaches the scalp between the braids and the length of the braid itself, so it conditions both without leaving the style looking wet or greasy. It softens the dry, tight feeling at the roots, keeps the hair underneath from going brittle, and adds a natural shine to the braid rather than a plastic one. That last part matters more than it sounds, because a braid that has gone dull and fuzzy usually gets taken down early, and taking a style down early is where a lot of length gets lost.
Spray directly onto the scalp and along the braids as often as the style needs it, usually every couple of days. Works for braids, locs, twists, cornrows and weaves. 236ml. Best on type 3b through 4c hair.

Application tips
Shake it, then part the braids and spray straight down onto the exposed scalp rather than misting the whole head from a distance. Rub it in with a fingertip along each parting.
Go over the lengths afterwards with a light pass and smooth them down by hand. Nights are the easiest time to do it, under a scarf, so the style has hours to take it in.
Results
That tight, itchy dry feeling around a fresh install eases within minutes and stays eased for a day or two.
Braids look conditioned, not wet, and the shine sits soft rather than lacquered. The hair inside the braid keeps some flexibility, which is what stops it snapping when the style eventually comes down.
