Kerastase Keratine Thermique Blow Dry Primer: Heat Protection & Frizz Control for All Hair Types 200ml
Cream primers behave differently from spray protectants. This one is thicker, coats more evenly and does more conditioning on the way through, which suits hair that turns rough or frizzy the moment a dryer gets near it. It goes on damp and stays in.
Xylose is the heat-protective active, rated to 230°C (450°F). Ceramides reinforce the fibre from the inside to improve elasticity and reduce breakage, with wheat protein adding to that. The Morpho-Keratine complex coats the fibre for manageability and humidity resistance, while Thermo-Seal Glazing smooths the surface and seals the cuticle so hair detangles and reflects light.
What it does
- Protects up to 230°C (450°F) against dryers, straighteners and wands
- Holds frizz and humidity off for the length of the day
- Ceramides and wheat protein strengthen against breakage and split ends
- Smooths the cuticle, so blow-drying is quicker and shinier
How to use it
Towel-dry after washing until hair is damp rather than dripping. Take a walnut-sized amount, roughly one to two pumps depending on length and thickness, and work it through the lengths and ends. Keep it off the scalp so the roots do not go flat. Blow-dry and style as usual.
Works on all hair types, including colour-treated and frizz-prone hair. 200ml.

Application tips
Damp hair, towel-dried to the point where it is no longer dripping. Wet hair dilutes a cream primer and you lose the coating.
Two or three pumps for mid-length hair, more if it is thick. Rake it through with the fingers, then comb to spread it evenly, concentrating below the ears. Leave the roots alone unless they run dry. Dry straight away rather than letting it sit, since it is designed to work under heat.
Results
Hair takes a dryer without turning to straw. The rough, static feeling that shows up around the fifteen-minute mark simply does not arrive.
The finish is smoother than a spray gives, with the lengths lying flat and the ends looking less frayed. Humidity has less to grab at, so a blow-dry survives a walk to the car. Combing wet hair gets easier too, which cuts the tugging that costs you length over months.
