Keracare Natural Textures Leave In Conditioner 16 oz / 473 ml - For Natural Hair, Detangling & Moisture
The Natural Textures line is KeraCare's answer for hair worn in its own pattern rather than straightened, and the 473ml leave-in is the workhorse of it. Coils, curls and waves from 2a through 3b are what it was built for.
The ingredient list is where it separates from the older KeraCare leave-in. Amla and shikakai are botanicals with a long history in South Asian hair care, and here they sit alongside argan and Abyssinian oils. Argan is the familiar one. Abyssinian is the lighter of the two, which is why it turns up in products meant for hair that cannot take weight. Together they give slip without the coating that flattens a curl pattern.
Apply to wet hair straight out of the shower, detangle in sections while it is still slippery, then move on to whatever cream or gel you use. It reduces the breakage that comes with pulling at knots, and it leaves the hair soft enough that styling goes faster.

Application tips
Buy a pump top for the bottle if it does not come with one, because 473ml is awkward to pour one handed in the shower.
Two or three pumps per quarter section is about right on thick hair. Rake it in with the fingers first and only then bring a comb through. Leave the last inch of the ends until everything above them has already let go.
Results
The comb stops snagging, which is what a leave in is for. Beyond that, the hair holds a cushioned feel, not a slick one.
Curls keep their own pattern rather than being pressed flat. Frizz stays down through the day, and whatever styler goes on next spreads further across the section.
