Application tips
One wash is generally enough unless the hair has oil in it, in which case do a quick first lather to break that up and a second to actually clean. Concentrate at the roots and let the rest run down.
Comb your fingers through before you rinse. Cool water at the end. Then conditioner, while the hair is still soaking.
Results
The lather is generous rather than mean, and it takes oil and product off without leaving the hair scoured. Enough moisture stays behind that the conditioner afterwards is a bonus and not a rescue.
Detangling begins in the shampoo instead of being left to the conditioner, which is where the breakage maths changes, because wet combing is where most length disappears. Flyaway ends lie flatter and the finish has a proper gloss to it.
