Standard hold is the one to pick if you want a set with movement in it. The extra hold version of the same lotion is firmer, better suited to styles that must not shift for several days. This one keeps body and bounce and finishes with real shine rather than a matte, dusty look. It covers 2a to 3b hair on natural or relaxed textures.
Foam into damp hair, section by section, then set and dry fully. The lotion keeps sections detangled while you work, so the parting stage is quicker and the comb out at the end is less destructive.
Use a light hand if your hair is fine, since foam wrap builds up quickly on thin strands.
