The 118 ml size of the glossifier is the one that travels. Same formula as the larger bottle, small enough to keep in a bag for the week or to take away without giving up half a suitcase.

It is applied straight to the scalp, not to the hair, which is why the smaller bottle lasts longer than you would expect. Part the hair, run a line of product along the parting, and massage in with your fingertips. The emollients soften the tight, dry feeling and leave the scalp comfortable, and the hair takes on a low sheen as you work through the sections. Natural or relaxed, 2a through 3c, it behaves the same way.

Handy under a protective style, where the scalp is exposed and the hair is not accessible. Handy too in the weeks when you stretch washes out and the scalp starts to feel dry by day five.

Application tips

This is a scalp product, so the hair is only in the way. Clip the top half up, take a section at the nape, and touch the nozzle to the exposed skin as you draw it along. Work up the head in rows.

Then fingertips, small circles, until it has gone. Travel size, so it fits a wash bag. Keep the cap tight in a hot suitcase.

Results

That pulled, papery feeling across the scalp lets go within a minute or two, and stays gone for a couple of days rather than only while the product is wet.

Hair picks up a quiet sheen along the way, which is a side effect rather than the aim. Useful under braids and cornrows where the skin is exposed and there is no getting at it, and useful in a long stretch between washes.

Composition

The full INCI is printed on the pack. We publish it here as soon as the brand supplies it, and we will read it off the bottle for you if you ask.
