How to use it
Wet the hair thoroughly with warm water. Dispense a generous amount, apply to wet hair and massage into the scalp with your fingertips, working up a lather and covering the dry, itchy or flaky patches properly. Rinse until it is all out. Wash a second time for a deeper clean, then follow with the matching Dry & Itchy Scalp conditioner.

Application tips
Warm water through the hair first, then a palmful worked into the scalp with the pads of the fingers. Give it a proper minute before rinsing, since the scalp is what you are actually washing here.
Second lather if the hair was heavily oiled. Rinse hard. Follow with the matching conditioner, and decant into a smaller bottle unless you enjoy wrestling with a litre.
Results
Flakes lift away with the rinse water, and the scalp is left comfortable rather than tight, which is where most shampoos aimed at dryness fall over.
The hair itself is left soft, not stripped back to nothing. There is less friction between the strands afterwards, so a comb passes through wet or dry with less pulling, and less pulling is directly less hair in the sink.
