1st Lather is the first shampoo in a two shampoo wash, and it does the dirty work. Its job is stripping out what has accumulated: sebum, dirt from the air, gel and hairspray residue, whatever is left of last week's wax stick.
That makes it the wrong shampoo for every wash and the right one for the wash where your hair has stopped responding to product. Buildup is the usual reason a leave in that used to work suddenly does nothing.
