Mousse got a bad name in the era when it was mostly alcohol and crunch. This is the modern version: alcohol free, so it holds the curl without drying the hair out or leaving it stiff to the touch.
Kenra rates it at a 13 on their hold scale with high humidity resistance, and the claim they make is a 60-hour hold, which in practice means a wash-and-go that survives well past the first day. It glazes each curl rather than gluing them together, so you get shine and definition with the pattern still moving.

Application tips
Two cans means one for the bathroom and one for the bag. Shake, then dispense a ball roughly the size of a plum into an upturned palm for medium length hair.
Take it in with the head tipped forward, cupping and squeezing rather than raking, because raking through mousse flattens the very lift you are adding. Diffuse on medium until most of the way dry, then leave the rest to the air.
Results
Every curl gets a thin glaze over it, which is where the shine comes from, and the definition holds well past the point a lighter mousse would have dropped. Humidity has less effect on the shape than usual. Nothing dries stiff, nothing flakes, and the hair still feels like hair by the evening. The hold runs long enough to carry a style across more than one day.
