This is a slip formula made for that specific problem. It penetrates to the join between your hair and the extension and lays down a slick layer there, so tightly installed braids unravel instead of resisting. Box braids, cornrows, Senegalese twists, faux locs and weaves all come out faster. Conditioning agents soften the natural hair before you start handling it, and that is what stops the snapping that shows up as breakage at the next wash. Hair comes out moisturised rather than stripped, so wash day afterwards is a normal wash rather than a rescue mission.
