This is the Jamaican Mango & Lime black castor oil with lavender in it, and the scent is the reason to choose it over the Original. Roasted castor oil on its own smells smoky and earthy. Lavender softens that considerably, which makes a long scalp massage a great deal more pleasant.
Underneath, the oil is the same. Authentic roasted Jamaican black castor oil, thick, dark and rich in fatty acids. It conditions the scalp, eases the dry tight feeling, and coats the lengths so they hold moisture and break less when you comb them.
4 oz, used a few drops at a time. Apply it to a damp scalp in sections rather than tipping it over the top of the head, and give each section a proper minute of massage before you move on.
